Additional Loveholic Volume 2 (Yaoi) Information
|
Last time, Nishioka and Matsukawa appeared to be on their way to love, but the rivalries, pressures and time demands that come with normal relationships can quickly get out of hand when you mix business and pleasure. Soon, Matsukawa finds his agency responsibilities are pulling him away from the object of his affection, leaving Nishioka less than enthusiastic about his own work. If Nishioka can't find the words to say how he truly feels, does he risk losing Matsukawa for good?!
Tôko Kawai, creator of Bond(z) and Our Everlasting, concocts a heart-wrenching finale for this workplace romance. Will the agency man and photographer find the balance they need to solidify their relationship? Or is the only real cure for a love hangover twelve steps to recovery?

What Customers Say About Loveholic Volume 2 (Yaoi):
|
|
It has been more that 1.5 years since the release of Loveholic 1. Loveholic is pure charm and I just love its deeply emotional ending. Vol 2 expresses their ups and downs as lovers so well, their feelings convincing, heartfelt, bittersweet yet so loving and tender.
Who would have thought Matsukawa is such a caring and loving seme.In vol 2, they are more or less a couple but it seems Matsukawa is the only one willing to commit on a deeper level as Nishioka shys away from uttering the 3 "fatal" words. One particular scene in the carnival is just outrageously cute and the last bonus epilogue on Matsukawa's tattoo is funny yet so sweet. This sequel is just as charming if not better and I find myself falling in love with Matsukawa and Nishioka all over again.
There are of course light hearted funny moments too. Matsukawa, more open about their relationship, is frustrated but being the more mature seme he is, puts up with Nishioka's fearful reservation. It does not help that the demands of careers and family conspire to keep them apart, culminating to a cross road where the lovers face an ultimatum.
Toko Kawai's artwork is of course a delight, her guys' expressions so vivid. So glad that June has given us the complete story.
